Brandon, Fla.- Republican Tom Lee was honored to receive a major endorsement this week from one of Florida’s most respected Republican leaders in Florida Attorney General and Hillsborough County native Pam Bondi.
“During his years of elected service to Florida, Tom Lee has proven his ability to champion and effectively accomplish policy objectives essential to the success of our state with great character, honesty and integrity,” Attorney General Bondi said. It is critical that the Florida Senate elect strong and conservative leaders like Tom Lee to help ensure that our state continues to create jobs, offer opportunities and provide safety for all Floridians. I am pleased to offer my endorsement and support to not only a respected and trusted conservative leader and successful businessman, but also my long-time family friend, Tom Lee.”
Republican Tom Lee served as President of the Florida Senate from 2005-2006, where he worked alongside Governor Jeb Bush to deliver comprehensive litigation reform and pass historic improvements to Florida’s campaign finance and government ethics laws. A resident of Hillsborough County for over 40 years and graduate of Hillsborough Community College and the University of Tampa, Tom lives in Brandon with his wife Laurel Moore Lee, an Assistant United States Attorney for the Middle District of Florida. He is running for the State Senate in District 24, a district that includes the eastern portion of Hillsborough County.
